At the age of 14, my teacher told me that I was so smart that I didn’t have to graduate. So I quit (Heeheehee). I spent the next 20 years custom stacking hay into barns, for different hay companies, unloading 100 ton per day on average (manually), 6 days per week. As my body started to wear out, I had to make a choice: Go back to school (my teacher was wrong) to pursue another career, or start selling hay.
Here I am. Over the course of the next few years, and selling all types of hay; alfalfa, grass hay, oat hay, timothy hay, rye-grass hay, straw, there was an increasing demand for animal bedding. Due to the difficulty of finding the right straw, the availability of it, and the rising cost in shavings and sawdust, we were compelled to find a product that would surpass all others.
